A meeting and public interaction programme was organised at the Nagar Panchayat Chopal office with the objective of expanding Kailash Federation’s fair-price shops and extending other facilities to farmers in the area.
Baldev Thakur interacted with local residents and discussed issues concerning the availability of fair-price shops and facilities for farmers. A survey and consultation were also held to assess the requirements of different areas.
During the programme, Thakur announced ₹1 lakh for development works in each ward of Chopal, underlining the need to address local infrastructure and public concerns.
He said that serving the people, facilitating farmers and supporting development initiatives would remain a priority, adding that he would continue to extend all possible assistance in resolving issues faced by residents.
The meeting was attended by Chandramohan, former Congress Committee president Surendra Mohan Mehta, former State Executive member Devendra Sharma, retired District Force Officer O.P. Bhota, Tehsildar Chaupal Rahul Jhalta, Prem Dogra, Ramesh Chauhan, Ram Lal, Shyam Lal, councillor Satya Madhayik, Rita and Anita, besides other prominent residents.
The programme focused on strengthening public facilities, understanding farmers’ requirements and accelerating development works across Chopal.
