Deot Sidh (Hamirpur), June 22
The scene of the triveni sangam of religion, faith and devotion was seen in Baba Balak Nath Temple, Deot Sidh. A flood of devotees gathered in the grand Bhakti Sandhya organized by J.B.D. Sham Body Committee, Jalandhar.
On this occasion, tribute was paid to late Omkar Nath Mehta, who laid the foundation of the program. In his memory, this event is organized every year in Jalandhar Dharamshala Deot Sidh, which is now handled by Manoj Mehta with full devotion and dedication.
Present as the chief guest was Rajiv Rana, State Chairman of the Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress (KKC), who was welcomed with drums, a flower shower, and traditional methods.
In his address, he said,
> “Baba Balak Nath is not just a name, he is the pillar of faith that supports every broken heart. The soul got peace by attending this event.” Chief guest Rajiv Rana prayed for the prosperity of the people of Hamirpur.
Chairman Rajiv Rana said that
– The major announcements made by the Sukhu government for the temple include a huge yatris’ residence in the temple premises, CCTV surveillance, a drinking water facility, a medical camp, and the deployment of security forces. The process of including the Baba Balak Nath temple in the religious tourism circuit has also been expedited. Chief guest Rajiv Rana (KKC) praised the development work being done in the temple by the government. He said that Chief Minister Sukhu’s government is serious about the promotion of religious places.
Many workers, including Sachin Chopra, Chetan Mehta, Mudit Sharma, Ankush, Chandra, Neeraj, Ravi, Abhi participated in the program.
