Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal inaugurated the district level under-19 sports competition.

Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal today attended the inauguration of the district level Under-19 sports competition held at the historic Chaugan in Chamba as the chief guest.
During this, he took the salute of the march past presented by the players and inaugurated the competition by hoisting the flag.
In this four-day competition, more than 900 students from 93 schools of Chamba district are participating in various sports competitions.
Various sports including athletics, table tennis, chess, weightlifting, judo, karate are being organised during the competition.
Mukesh Repaswal, congratulating the participants, said that sports are not just about winning medals, but also about developing important qualities in students such as discipline, hard work, concentration, and team spirit. These qualities enable them to face the challenges of future life with strength.
The Deputy Commissioner urged students not to let their circumstances hinder their path to success. He said that despite coming from areas with limited resources, many athletes have made their mark at the national and international levels. This proves that great goals can be achieved through talent, hard work, dedication, and determination.
He also called upon the students to make cleanliness and environmental protection an integral part of their daily routine.
Mukesh Repaswal, while wishing a bright future for the participating students, expressed confidence that many talented students participating in the competition will bring glory to the district and the state in the future.
During this time, the Deputy Commissioner was also honoured by the organising committee.
Earlier, Deputy Director School Education Vikas Mahajan gave the welcome address and shared detailed information related to the event.
On this occasion, Deputy Director School Education Quality Upma Sharma, Assistant District Physical Education Officer Yogesh Chauna, Education Department officials, Principals of various schools, teacher-trainers and a large number of students were present.
