Tauni Devi, September 27, 2026: BJP district office-bearers and Zila Parishad members on Sunday participated in a collective listening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme at Gwardu Gram Panchayat.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of BJP district president Rakesh Thakur. BJP District Kisan Morcha president and Gwardu Gram Panchayat Pradhan Anil Kaku, Zila Parishad member Manjit Dhiman, along with other party office-bearers and workers, were present on the occasion.
As part of the Aangan Utsav initiative, Anganwadi helpers from the area were also felicitated for their contribution to women and child development. The participants highlighted the role of Anganwadi workers and helpers in supporting children and families at the grassroots level.
A cleanliness drive was also organised, during which local water sources were cleaned. A cleanliness awareness camp was held to sensitise residents about the importance of maintaining clean water sources and a healthy environment.
