The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken major organizational action across the state, finalizing election preparations for the upcoming municipal and Panchayati Raj elections. An order issued by BJP State Office Secretary Pramod Thakur stated that after extensive consultations with the state’s top leadership, detailed election in-charges and committees have been announced at the municipal, district, and state levels, making it clear that the BJP is going to fight the elections in mission mode.
Among the in-charges announced for the municipal corporation elections, Pawan Kajal, Sudhir Sharma and Sachin Sharma have been given the responsibility for Dharamshala Municipal Corporation. Vipin Parmar, Rajesh Thakur, Trilok Kapoor and Ragini Rakwal have been deployed for Palampur Municipal Corporation. Payal Vaidya, Anil Sharma, Indra Singh Gandhi and Nihal Chand Sharma have been given the responsibility for Mandi Municipal Corporation. Whereas for Solan Municipal Corporation, the entire team including Sanjeev Katwal, Balveer Verma, Rashmidhar Sood, Vandana Yogi, Ratan Singh Pal, Dr. Rajesh Kashyap and Shailendra Gupta has been given the responsibility of conducting the elections.
Along with this, Vipin Singh Parmar, Randhir Sharma, Balveer Verma, Vinod Kumar, Rakesh Jamwal, Trilok Jamwal and Bihari Lal Sharma have been given the major responsibility in the committee formed at the state level for Panchayati Raj and Municipal Body elections, who will monitor the implementation of the election strategy in the entire state.
The BJP has also set up a comprehensive organisational structure at the district level and has assigned responsibilities to in-charge, co-in-charge, MP, MLA, former minister, district president, general secretary and office bearers of various fronts in every district. In Chamba district, Shashi Dhar Sharma, Rakesh Rana, Dheeraj Naryal, Harsh Mahajan, Hansraj, DS Thakur, Dr. Janak Raj, Pawan Nair, Vikram Jaryal, Ashok Thakur, Vinod Kumar and Subhash Thakur have been given responsibilities. In Nurpur, Purushottam Guleria, Vinay Sharma, Rakesh Kaka, Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Ranveer Singh Nikka, Rakesh Pathania, Rita Dhiman, Sanjay Guleria, Kuldeep Dogra and Rajeshwar Happy have been assigned responsibilities.
In the Kangra district, Sanjeev Sharma, Sachin Sharma, Sudhir Sharma, Pawan Kajal, Sarveen Chaudhary, Arun Mehra, Davinder Kohli, Yograj Chadha, and Brahmanand have been assigned responsibilities. In the Palampur organizational area, Rajesh Thakur, Pankaj Jamwal, Ragini Rakwal, Vipin Singh Parmar, Trilok Kapoor, Mulkraj Premi, Ravindra Dhiman, Vinay Sharma, Sandeep Thakur, Hari Dutt Sharma, Rajesh Rana, and Abhimanyu Bhatt have been assigned responsibilities.
In Lahaul-Spiti, Akhilesh Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ringzin Samphel Haryapa, Ravi Thakur, Jawahar Sharma, Rajendra Bauddh, Rakesh Kumar, Sanjay Karol and Sandeep have been given the responsibility. In Kullu, Bihari Lal Sharma, Priyanka Verma, Amit Sood, Govind Thakur, Surendra Shauri, Lokendra Lauki, Narottam Thakur, Akhilesh Kapoor, Bhim Sen Verma, Danendra Singh, Amar Thakur and Neelam Negi have been given the responsibility.
In Mandi district, Baldev Bhandari, Bhim Singh Verma, Nihal Chand Sharma, Priyanta Verma, Mohan Singh Thakur, Ajay Saklani, Karanveer Kaundal, Manchali Thakur, Bhishma Thakur, Kahan Singh Thakur and Mohan Lal Bose have been given the responsibility. In Sundernagar, Tilak Raj Sharma, Kusum Sudrate, Hira Lal, Sanjeev Katwal, Dr. Sanjay Thakur, Ratan Thakur, Deshraj, Pratap Thakur, Chetan Guleria, Arun Sharma and Swadesh Chandel have been given the responsibility.
In Kinnaur, Ajay Rana, Vijay Parmar, Yashwant Negi, Surat Negi, Sunil Negi, Anand Negi, Subhash Chhering, Vinay Negi, Baldev Negi and Sanjeev Hara have been given the responsibility. In Dehra, Mahendra Dharmani, Ajay Kumar Katta, Vikram Thakur, Ravindra Singh Ravi, Hoshiyaar Singh, Vijay Mehta, Sushil Kalia and Upendra Dhiman have been given the responsibility.
In Hamirpur district, Amit Thakur, Priyavrat Sharma, Rakesh Thakur, Anurag Singh Thakur, Dr. Sikandar Kumar, Indradutt Lakhanpal, Ashish Sharma, Kamlesh Kumari, Vijay Agnihotri, Rajendra Rana, Dr. Anil Dhiman, Ajay Singh Thakur, and Subhash Thakur have been assigned responsibilities. In Una, Rashmidhar Sood, Vishal Chauhan, Shyam Singh, Satpal Satti, Balveer Singh, Rajesh Thakur, Devendra Bhutto, Chetan Sharma, Prof. Ram Kumar, Pehl Lal Bhardwaj, and Lakhveer Singh have been assigned responsibilities.
In Bilaspur, Payal Vaidya, Devendra Sharma, Krishna Lal Chandel, Randhir Sharma, Jeet Ram Katwal, Trilok Jamwal, Rajendra Garg, Swatantra Sankhyan, Naveen Sharma and Pyare Lal Chaudhary have been assigned responsibilities. In Sirmaur, Dr. Sanjay Thakur, Rakesh Dogra, Dheeraj Gupta, Suresh Kashyap, Sukhram Chaudhary, Reena Kashyap, Baldev Tomar, Vinay Kumar Gupta, Manish Chauhan, Narayan Singh and Baldev Bhandari have been assigned responsibilities.
In Solan district, Rajpal Singh, Vandana Yogi, Ratan Pal, Rashmidhar Sood, Dr. Rajiv Sahjal, Paramjit Singh, KL Thakur, Govind Sharma, Dr. Jenny Thakur, Balveer Thakur, and Bharat Sahni have been assigned responsibilities. In Shimla, Suresh Chandel, Niten Kumar, Keshav Chauhan, Suresh Bhardwaj, Sanjay Sood, Ravi Mehta, Karan Nanda, Prem Thakur, Rajendra Singh Jhina, Satya Prakash, Kamal Thakur, and Devraj Verma have been assigned responsibilities.
In the Mahasu region, Dr. Sikandar Kumar, Atul Vadya, Arun Singh Falta, Balbir Singh Verma, Chetan Baragta, Sandipani Bhardwaj, Ajay Shyam, Shashi Bala, Kuldeep Negi, Sanjay Verma and Harichand Dogra have been assigned the responsibility.
Through this comprehensive organizational structure, the BJP has made it clear that the party will fight not only the urban body elections but also the Panchayati Raj elections with full force and strategy. Responsibilities have been assigned in every district, from senior leaders down to the booth level, providing a strong foundation for election management.
The BJP leadership believes that this organizational strength will give the party an edge in the elections and will convert the public anger against the anti-people policies of the Congress government in favor of the BJP.
It is clear that BJP has put in all its strength in the electoral battle and is many steps ahead of Congress at the organizational level.
