Una, April 21 : The election for the president of the Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation will be held at the Savings Building at the district headquarters on April 24th at 11 a.m. This election is being held due to the vacancy caused by the retirement of former NGO president Rajneesh Sharma in December 2025.
Following the retirement of Rajneesh Sharma, the Federation’s senior vice president, Tara Singh, has been temporarily filling the position. Elections are underway to elect a new president.
Tara Singh appealed to all block presidents and district representatives of Una district to actively participate in the elections and help make them a success. He said that this election is crucial for strengthening the organization and better advocating for the interests of employees.
The officials of the Federation have also called upon all the members to ensure active participation in the democratic process, so that the organization can get new direction and leadership.
