After the Delhi visit of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, a cabinet meeting will be called soon, and many important decisions will be taken. In this, mainly those decisions will be discussed that could not be taken up in the cabinet meeting held on Monday. The issue related to increasing the retirement age of employees and pension commutation is prominent in this. However, the government is looking at both its aspects before taking this decision. The first aspect is that by increasing the retirement age, the government may have to face the anger of the unemployed youth waiting for a job.
The second aspect and issue is pension commutation, due to which the government may have to face the anger of the employees retiring in the coming time. The cabinet has given permission to SJVN to lease land in Kangra and Hamirpur for the Dhaulasidh Power Project. Apart from this, permission has been given to lease 80.53 hectares of land in Sunni for the establishment of Koul Dam in favor of National Thermal Power Corporation.
