Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Nandita Gupta inspected the EVM warehouse at Fagu on Saturday.
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the EVM warehouse is inspected regularly. He said that the Chief Election Officer inspected the EVM warehouse today and during this time everything in the warehouse was found to be in order. Along with this, he also inspected the work going on there from the security point of view.
It is noteworthy that the EVM warehouse is inspected on the instructions of the Election Commission of India, in which police guards, duty registers, fire extinguishers, CCTV cameras, power systems, and other things are checked for the security of EVMs.
