Kullu, January 3
Five separate cases have been registered under the Excise Act in various police stations of Himachal Pradesh. These cases have come to light in police stations in Manikaran, Bhuntar, Ani, Brough, and Nirmand.
The first case is related to a grocery shop located in Pulga under police station Manikaran, where, on the basis of secret information, 5 bottles of English liquor (Royal Stag) and 7 bottles of beer (Tuborg) were recovered from Roshan Lal. In the second case, the team of Police Station Bhuntar recovered 5 liters of illicit liquor from a woman’s house in Phaltanala village on the basis of secret information.
In the third case, the team of Police Outpost Luhri of Police Station Ani recovered 7 bottles of country liquor (Una No. 01) from the shop/dhaba of Purna Chand in Galog village on secret information. In the fourth case, the team of Police Station Brow recovered 3 bottles of English liquor (Royal Stag) and 9 bottles of Desi liquor (Una No. 01) from Rakesh Tekta’s Dhaba in Brow.
In the fifth case, the team of Police Outpost Nithar of Police Station Nirmand recovered 5 bottles of Desi liquor (Una No. 01) from Rajendra Rao’s Dhaba in Jhalli. In all the cases, cases have been registered in the respective police stations under the Excise Act.
