Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap met with the group of individuals impacted by the Luhri Hydroelectric Project. Favorable action based on the requests of Guaranteed to pick it up on a priority basis.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, the Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) would notify the uninformed committees within two days in response to the demands of the impacted individuals. This also applies to the committee that will be established to evaluate agricultural damage. Compensation for crop damage will only be available to the impacted parties upon the establishment of this committee.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, Pankaj Sharma, the Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order), would examine the Luhri Hydroelectric Project’s impacted region. In addition, he will immediately listen to the issues faced by those impacted before taking any action.
The designated disposal locations will also be examined, according to the Deputy Commissioner. Strict measures will be taken against the offenders if unlawful dumping is discovered elsewhere other than the approved disposal locations.
He stated that on July 8 and 10, ADM and other officials will visit the location to conduct an inspection.
