The Industries Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh, organized a one-day awareness workshop on “Market Success and Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Training” in Development Block Ani. More than 50 participants, including women from self-help groups and local entrepreneurs, attended the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to provide participants with information on how to successfully establish products in the market, maintain long-term business sustainability and provide them with information on modern opportunities and techniques available in the field of entrepreneurship.
District Industries Center officer Chandra Mohan was present as the chief and special guest at the event. Dr. Radhika Negi, assistant professor at Government Degree College, Ani, conducted the training session as the keynote speaker and instructor.
Dr. Radhika Negi provided detailed information to participants about branding, packaging, customer engagement, understanding market demand, and modern entrepreneurship methods. She emphasized that locally produced products can be better recognized in a competitive market by focusing on quality, packaging, and sustainability.
He also informed participants that necessary product improvements to suit the changing market, effective branding, and understanding customer preferences are crucial to the success of any small enterprise. During the workshop, participants discussed various topics related to entrepreneurship and the market and shared their experiences.
The Industry Department informed that under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) scheme, such awareness and training workshops will be organised continuously in the future so that local entrepreneurs and self-help groups can get the necessary guidance in taking their products and business to the wider market.
