Una, August 23: Employees of Hindustan Farm Direct Ingredients Private Limited in Pandoga industrial area on Sunday joined the Swadeshi Jagran Manch’s nationwide campaign, “I am also a Swadeshi supporter”, aimed at promoting indigenous products and strengthening the country’s economy.
The campaign was organised at the company’s facility in Pandoga, located in the Haroli Assembly constituency. Managing Director Puneet Modgil enrolled employees in the campaign and encouraged them to extend the Swadeshi movement to their family members.
Addressing the gathering, Satyadev Sharma Sahod, district full-time trainer of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch, said the organisation was connecting people across the country to the campaign. He said the initiative was also being expanded at various locations in Una district to encourage greater public participation.
“Every citizen can contribute to strengthening the country’s economy by promoting and using indigenous products,” he said.
Sharma also highlighted the World Entrepreneurship Fortnight, under which young people are being encouraged to take up self-employment and entrepreneurship. He said the initiative aims to make youth self-reliant and motivate them to create employment opportunities for others.
