In a grand and memorable ceremony, Bahra University Convocation 2026 celebrated the achievements of 577 graduates who received their degrees. The Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Kavinder Gupta ji, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Addressing the graduates, the Hon’ble Governor delivered an inspiring message on the role of youth in nation-building. He called upon the young graduates to contribute actively towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India). He urged them to move beyond being job seekers and to become job providers, creating opportunities through enterprise, innovation and leadership.

For the graduating students, the degree is far more than an academic qualification. It reflects years of hard work, dedication and perseverance, and the challenges they overcame along the way.
The ceremony also paid heartfelt tribute to the parents and faculty members who stood behind the students throughout their journey. The sacrifices and encouragement of parents, along with the commitment and guidance of faculty, have shaped the students’ knowledge, skills and personalities. Their contribution remains one of the strongest pillars of Bahra University’s academic excellence and reputation.
Established in September 2010 under the Bahra Educational and Charitable Society, Bahra University has grown into a prominent centre for education and research in Himachal Pradesh. It offers 60 diverse academic programmes and has nearly 4,000 students from diverse backgrounds, forming a vibrant academic community.
Beyond academics, the university is committed to preparing young people to become capable professionals, responsible citizens and future leaders. The conferring of degrees upon 577 graduates celebrates their individual achievements and reflects the university’s continued commitment to quality education, innovation and excellence.
