Hamirpur, September 24: Hamirpur Superintendent of Police Balveer Singh has been named among the ‘Top-25 Police Superintendents of India-2026’ in a survey conducted by Fame India-Asia Post Magazine.
Singh was recognised for his leadership, strengthening of law and order, crime prevention and efforts to ensure public safety. The survey also highlighted the integration of innovation, technology and community participation into police functioning under his leadership.
During his tenure in Hamirpur, Singh has focused on making policing more people-centric and accountable, while using technology to improve efficiency and service delivery. His efforts to motivate police officers and personnel towards better public service have also been recognised.
On Wednesday, Singh presented a copy of the Fame India-Asia Post Magazine to Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta.
