Shimla, August 5:
The Himachal Pradesh Government on Wednesday ordered the transfer of Kullu Deputy Commissioner Anurag Chander Sharma (IAS, 2016 batch) with immediate effect. According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Sharma has been directed to report to the Department of Personnel for further posting on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board.
In a separate notification, the government assigned Surjeet Singh (HPAS, 2012 batch), currently serving as Additional District Magistrate (Development)-cum-Project Director, DRDA, Kullu, the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner, Kullu until further orders.
The orders, issued in the public interest, were signed by Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant and will take effect immediately. The notifications were issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-I Section) on August 5, 2026.
