Shimla, July 31
The Himachal Pradesh government on Friday issued key administrative orders, promoting senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Sushil Kumar to the rank of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) with immediate effect. The promotion has been granted on a proforma basis while he is on State Deputation Reserve. He will receive the financial benefits of the Level-16 pay matrix upon his repatriation to the state cadre.
In a separate notification, the Department of Personnel transferred Rahul Dhiman, a 2025-batch HPAS officer, from his current post as Assistant Commissioner (Development)-cum-Block Development Officer, Una, to the same position in Nahan, Sirmaur district. The transfer has been ordered with immediate effect in the public interest.
The latest orders are part of the state government’s ongoing administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and streamlining departmental functioning.
