Shimla, May 7
The Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders for several Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Service (HPSS) officers with immediate effect in public interest.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-IV), Deputy Secretary (Digital Technologies and Governance) Vijay Kumar has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary (Home).
Among other key changes, Manmohan Chopra has been shifted from Ayush to Home Department, while Vandana has been transferred from Industries to Secretariat Administration (SA). Ranjana Sharma has been posted as Under Secretary (Youth Services & Sports and Digital Technologies & Governance).
Ramesh Chand has been shifted from Youth Services & Sports to Industries Department.
The government has also promoted four HPSS officers. Tarun Saxena has been promoted and posted as Under Secretary (Finance-IF), Vandana Gupta as Under Secretary (Ayush), Ved Parkash as Under Secretary (Finance Regulation), and Govind Ballabh Upadhyay as Under Secretary (Personnel).
The notification was issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta and comes into effect immediately.
