In a step towards strengthening institutional collaboration, officials of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) met the Vice Chancellor of Dr Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, on Tuesday to discuss potential areas of cooperation.
The HPTDC delegation, accompanied by the Deputy General Manager of Pinewood Hotel, Barog, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor and held discussions on various tourism, hospitality and wellness initiatives being undertaken by the corporation.
The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to promote HPTDC’s tourism services, hospitality facilities and wellness offerings among the university community. Both sides also discussed the scope for future collaboration through awareness programmes, institutional partnerships and other mutually beneficial initiatives.
The discussions were held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, with both the University and HPTDC expressing interest in strengthening cooperation and fostering a long-term partnership for the benefit of students, faculty and staff.
