Solan: The grand finale of the 5th Moot Court Competition at Bahra University concluded on a high note, with Justice Sushil Kukreja, Hon’ble Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, attending as the Chief Guest.
The event brought together law students from leading institutions across the country, including Banaras Hindu University, Woxsen University, ITM University Gwalior, BITS Law School, Christ University (Delhi and Bengaluru campuses), Vivekananda Global University, Asian Law College, Himachal Pradesh University, UILS Ava Lodge Shimla, and the Department of Laws at Panjab University.
The final round witnessed intense legal arguments and courtroom exchanges, evaluated by a panel of eminent academicians and legal experts. Senior functionaries of Bahra University, including Prof. (Dr.) Sushil Chaudhary, Pro Vice-Chancellor, were present at the event.
A special mention was made of Mr. Vineet Kumar, Retired IFS and Registrar of the university, for his guidance and contribution to the successful conduct of the competition.
Addressing the gathering, Justice Kukreja emphasised the importance of mooting in shaping advocacy skills and strengthening legal acumen among students. He encouraged participants to uphold the values of justice, integrity and professionalism in their future careers.
The competition served as a vital platform for aspiring lawyers to hone their legal reasoning, research abilities and courtroom etiquette, reflecting the university’s focus on academic excellence and holistic development.
