Kailash Federation Chairman Baldev Thakur on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Himfed Chairman Maheshwar Singh Chauhan at the Himfed office, where the two discussed a range of issues concerning the functioning and future strengthening of their respective organisations.
The meeting was marked by traditional Himachali hospitality and mutual respect. Thakur presented Chauhan with a bouquet and honoured him by presenting the traditional Himachali cap and shawl. Chauhan reciprocated the gesture by welcoming Thakur with a Himachali cap and muffler.
The interaction provided an opportunity for the two chairmen to exchange views on various important matters related to the Kailash Federation and Himfed. They discussed issues of mutual interest, institutional coordination and the scope for greater cooperation between the two organisations.
The two sides also deliberated on ways to improve coordination and work collectively on issues that could contribute to strengthening the cooperative and institutional framework in the state.
