Kullu: The dates for this year’s International Kullu Dussehra were announced at a meeting of the Dussehra Committee, with the festival scheduled to be held from October 21 to 27.
Dussehra Committee chairman Sunder Singh Thakur said the week-long festival will begin on October 21 with the traditional Rath Yatra of Lord Raghunath, while the celebrations will conclude on October 27 with the Lanka Dahan ceremony.
From October 21 to 27, Dhalpur will host a range of events, including the traditional Dev Samagam, cultural evenings and international-level programmes.
Thakur said all departments have been directed to complete the necessary preparations by October 10 to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.
