Solan, Himachal Pradesh: LR Group of Institutes, Engineering and Technology, Solan, organised a project exhibition and poster presentation, providing students with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas, technical skills and creativity.
Students from Electrical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and CSE (AI & ML) departments participated enthusiastically in the event. They displayed a range of working models, innovative projects and posters covering various technical subjects.
The chief guest, T.P.S. Jassal, an IIT Delhi graduate in Electrical Engineering with over 47 years of professional experience, visited the exhibition and interacted with the students. Jassal is currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at a Hong Kong-based technology company and is working from Shenzhen.
Engineer Shubham Aggarwal, Assistant Engineer, Public Works Department, was also present as the special guest. Both guests examined the projects and posters and appreciated the students’ creativity and efforts. They also shared suggestions aimed at encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship and future start-up opportunities.
Principals, heads of departments, faculty members and a large number of students visited the exhibition.
Institute Principal Prof. Dr P.P. Sharma and Managing Director Dr Shachi Singh also reviewed the projects and appreciated the students’ efforts. They said such events play an important role in enhancing students’ practical knowledge, creativity and confidence while providing them with opportunities to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges.
