Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is presenting his third budget in the Assembly today. In his first budget as Finance Minister, he has made many important announcements for the development and welfare of the state. During this, CM Sukhu put forward many important points of his budget before the House.
Before presenting the budget, Chief Minister Sukhu drove his Alto car from Oak Over to the Assembly, which was seen the budget will be for common man.
The Chief Minister announced an increase in the honorarium of Zilla Parishad employees in his budget. Now the honorarium of the Zilla Parishad will be increased by Rs 1000, which will make it Rs 25000 per month. Apart from this, the honorarium of Panchayat Samiti President, Vice-President has been increased by Rs 600 and the honorarium of the member has been increased by Rs 300.
Panchayat Samiti Chairman will get Rs 12000,Vice-president will get Rs 9000,member will get Rs 7500,
Panchayat Pradhan will get Rs 7500,Up-Pradhan will get Rs 5100.
This step has been taken with the aim of encouraging the work of panchayat representatives and local bodies.
Honorarium of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councilor also increased
The Chief Minister has announced an increase in the honorarium of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councilor in his budget. The honorarium of the Mayor has been increased by Rs 1 thousand, the honorarium of the Deputy Mayor has been increased by Rs 1 thousand and the honorarium of the councilor has been increased by Rs 1 thousand.
Special scheme for MNREGA workers
CM Sukhu also announced that a comprehensive scheme will be implemented for MNREGA workers. Under this, the daily wage of MNREGA workers will be increased by Rs 20 to Rs 320, so that their standard of living can improve.
The CM has announced a plan to expand the airport in Kangra district. He said that to bring Kangra Airport on the international tourist map, it will be expanded in a time-bound manner. A provision has been made to spend Rs 3000 crore on this project in the new financial year. Apart from this, the matter of Balh airport will also be raised at the time of Airport Authority.
There is a proposal to open a wellness and rafting center in Naidun. Also, a plan has been made to provide employment opportunities to the youth under the Chief Minister Startup Scheme. Under this scheme, food vans will be made available to the youth and subsidy will also be given on the van.
The Himachal government will invite investors to build luxurious hotels in the state. All permissions will be provided within a month for the establishment of these hotels. Apart from this, the Chief Minister announced a plan to beautify temples in the state. Rs 100 crore will be spent in the new financial year to complete the Mandi Shiv Dham.
A plan has been made to open a wellness center in Dehra. For this, the DPR (Detailed Project Report) will be sent to the central government. This center will help in giving a new dimension to the health and tourism sector of the state.
