Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania announced that the 12th session of the 14th Legislative Assembly will commence on August 21st at 11:00 am. Pathania stated that this session will continue until September 3, 2026, and a total of 10 meetings will be held. He added that the notification was issued today by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat following the Governor’s recommendation.
Pathania said that meetings will also be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, while there will be no meetings on August 28, 29, and 30. He added that meetings will not be held on August 28 due to Raksha Bandhan and August 29 due to Saturdays.
Pathania stated that August 27, 2026, has been designated as the Private Members’ Working Day. He stated that as soon as the session notification is issued, honorable members can submit information related to their constituencies to the Assembly Secretariat both offline and online.
