Kullu, November 4: National level statistical surveys will be conducted in various areas of Kullu district in the month of November by the National Statistical Office of the Government of India.
These include surveys related to labour force, unorganised sector enterprises, household income, consumer price index, migration, credit and investment and agricultural households. During the month of November, Periodic Labour Force Survey will be conducted in Karad and Shamshi, Annual Unorganised Sector Enterprises Survey in Shamshi and Manali and National Household Income Survey in Kullu. Apart from this, Consumer Price Index Survey will be conducted in Manikaran, Kullu and Manali, Migration Survey in Manali and All India Credit and Investment Survey and Situation Assessment Survey of Agricultural Households will be conducted in Rashala and Kullu.
Trained officers will collect information from selected households and establishments using digital devices. The confidentiality of the collected data will be ensured and it will be used only for statistical purposes. NSO has appealed to the selected households and institutions to cooperate with the survey by providing accurate information.
