The Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts at Shoolini University hosted a Fresher’s Party at the Centre for Science Learning and Creativity in Shogi, Shimla.
The Fresher’s party was themed “Around the World”. The event was organised by senior students, creating a lively blend of cultural representation, talent showcases, and fun activities.
The day featured a variety of performances, including poetry recitations, musical acts, and dance routines, showcasing the diverse talents of students.
One of the main highlights was the “Miss Fresher,” “Mr Fresher,” and “Best Dressed” competitions. Okram Laglen Chanu was crowned “Miss Fresher,” while Gaurav Shinde earned the title of “Mr Fresher.” The “Best Dressed” award went to Rigzin Khando, who impressed the audience with her stunning cultural attire.
Prof. Purnima Bali, Head of the Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts, said that the event aimed to provide a platform for new students to connect with their peers and seniors, fostering a sense of community within the school.
