Three-day CPTMPS-2026 brings together experts and researchers from across the country
Baddi, September 12, 2026: More than 250 researchers presented their research papers and posters at a three-day national conference on Current Perspectives on Technology in Materials and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPTMPS-2026) organised by IEC University from September 9 to 11.
The conference brought together experts, academicians, faculty members and research scholars from different parts of the country to discuss developments and emerging perspectives in materials and pharmaceutical sciences.
IEC University vice-chancellor Prof Ashok Kumar Puri welcomed the keynote speakers and participants at the conference.
Experts from diverse disciplines, including chemistry, physics, pharmacy, mathematics and engineering, presented their research findings and shared insights on emerging developments in their respective fields.
The keynote speakers included Dr Neeraj Gupta from Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala; Dr S V N Pammi from Srinidhi University, Hyderabad; Dr Manjinder Singh from NIPER, Mohali; Dr Rakesh Kumar from Punjabi University, Patiala; and Dr Ankit Kumar Dubey from Chandigarh University, Mohali.
Over the three days, researchers presented more than 250 papers through oral presentations and posters. Three outstanding presenters were selected and felicitated with cash prizes for their research presentations.
At the concluding session, DAA Dr Jyoti Gupta thanked the university management, keynote speakers and participants for their support and active participation.
She said academic conferences of this nature encourage meaningful exchange of ideas and contribute to promoting quality and ethical research. Such platforms also provide research scholars with opportunities to showcase their work, interact with experts and explore new areas of research.
