The Rotaract Club of HPNLU Shimla, under the aegis of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU, organized Holi celebration at the Government Primary School in Batlang, Arki, District Solan, HP The event was held on Thursday, 13th March 2025, with the objective of promoting communal harmony, cultural engagement, and fostering goodwill among the students of the school.
The celebration, imbued with vibrancy, included music, dance, and the traditional play of colors, bringing a festive spirit to the students and Rotaract members alike. The students of the school were actively engaged in various fun-filled activities, including the playful throwing of colors and sharing of sweets, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.
Dr. Hari Chand, the Club coordinator, emphasized the importance of such celebrations, saying, “We believe in creating positive experiences for children, and Holi is a wonderful way to do that.” President Ritik Jinata, Secretary Sonia Singh Rana, and senior Rotaract members Niharika, Kartikey, Rajat, Adish, Gargi, Umang, Yash, Binesh, Manaya, and Jyoti were also present. The celebration concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of ladoos and refreshing fruit juice, leaving everyone with smiles and fond memories.
