Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Aniruddha Singh attended the annual day celebration held at the Government Senior Secondary School, Kyarkoti, as the chief guest today. On this occasion, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several important development projects in the area.
The Minister laid the foundation stone of the new building of Government Senior Secondary School Kyarkoti, inaugurated the road from Mungar Nala to village Mungar, laid the foundation stone of the road from Dhagogi to village Jayali, laid the foundation stone of Panchayat Community Centre (Panchayat Ghar) Neri in Gram Panchayat Chadi and inaugurated the Mohanpur Nala-Kyarkoti road.
Addressing the crowd, he said that it was a matter of great joy for the region that the bus route had been successfully completed today, thanks to a joint effort by the Public Works, Forest, and Transportation departments. He directed that the Executive Engineer prepare the necessary estimates and submit them to the department to ensure that the bus reaches the village.
He stated that approximately 15.6 million and 65 thousand rupees have been spent on various development projects in Chadi Panchayat over the past two and a half years, including roads. He also informed that approximately 5 crore rupees have been approved for the school building, and work on it will begin by January. Additionally, 2 crore rupees approved by the Chief Minister will soon be transferred to the department.
The Minister stated that work on the roads for which the foundation stone was laid today will begin soon. Other roads in the area will also be strengthened and paved. He added that a bridge will be constructed over the Neri drain in the same manner as the Mohanpur drain. Bridge construction will also be initiated to address the problem of frequent blockages in the Mungar drain, ensuring local residents are not inconvenienced.
He announced the construction of a 50,000-liter water tank in the temple area to ensure water supply during the feast and directed the Executive Engineer to prepare an estimate for it. He also directed the government to prepare a proposal for the repair of the buildings of the Government Senior Primary and Secondary School, Panjog, and submit it for approval before March 31st.
