Shimla District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap, exercising powers conferred under Sections 115 and 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, issued an order stating that due to ongoing road cutting works, the Shoghi-Mehli road from Shilgaon to Sewage Treatment Plant, Baragaon will be closed for all types of vehicles from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 03:00 pm to 04:00 pm from October 21 to November 20, 2025. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to ply during this period.
The District Magistrate has directed that during this period all necessary safety and precautionary measures should be ensured by the implementing agency so that the public does not face any inconvenience.
