In a remarkable achievement, Shoolini University has bagged the number one position in the category of Citations per Paper, reflecting its outstanding research impact and global academic excellence.
The university has also climbed to the 159th position in Asia in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026, moving up nine places from last year’s rank of 168. It has been ranked 14th in India.
The results, released by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), evaluated 1,526 institutions, of which 550 were from Asia and 294 from India, including 137 new entrants. Shoolini University’s consistent rise in the QS rankings highlights its growing reputation as a research-driven institution committed to innovation and academic excellence.
Shoolini’s journey in the QS Asia rankings began in 2021, when it was placed in the 291–300 band. In 2022, the University improved to 271–280, followed by a further rise to 216–220 in 2023. Last year, in 2025, it was ranked 168, and now, in 2026, it proudly stands at 159, marking a steady and inspiring climb over just five years.
Speaking on the achievement, Chancellor Prof P K Khosla, expressed immense pride and thanked the entire Shoolini community and said that this success is the result of the collective efforts of faculty, researchers, students, and staff, whose commitment to excellence and innovation continues to propel the University to new heights.
