A delegation from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, and Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, visited the Shoolini University campus for collaboration under a DST-funded Indo-Russian joint research project aimed at scientific advancement.
The team was led by Prof. Mikhail Vlaskin, Head of the Laboratory at The Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, and Prof. Kiseleva Sophia from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, along with Prof. Vinod Kumar, Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, UK, India. Prof. Pankaj Kumar Chauhan from the School of Bioengineering and Food Technology at Shoolini University welcomed them to collaborate on research excellence and innovation.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in meaningful interactions with Shoolini University’s leadership, including the Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla, Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla, Pro-Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand, and Director of Innovations and Learning at Shoolini University, Mr. Ashish Khosla, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology. They also met with the Head of the School of Bioengineering and Food Technology and other senior faculty members. These discussions provided a platform for sharing insights and expertise across various research areas, enriching the academic dialogue and laying the foundation for future joint endeavors.
This scientific visit is important for international collaboration to enhance academic discourse and advance knowledge across borders. “By bringing together experts from diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds, Shoolini University and its Russian counterparts have set a precedent for global partnerships in research and education,” said Prof. Pankaj Kumar Chauhan.
