The newly constructed building of The Ambuja Dadla Kashlog Mangu Transport Cooperative Society Limited was inaugurated.
Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said the state government is committed to providing better transportation facilities to the people and making Himachal a ‘Green Energy State.’ Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed building of The Ambuja Darla Kashlog Mangu Transport Cooperative Society Limited at Darlaghat in the Arki assembly constituency today.
Sanjay Awasthi said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the state government is taking effective steps to develop the state as a “Green Energy State.” He said that Himachal, replete with green energy, will not only set an example for the country but will also strengthen Himachal’s economy with alternative income sources.
He said that the state government is providing a 50 percent subsidy to private bus and truck operators for purchasing e-buses and e-trucks. This will provide employment and self-employment opportunities for youth and will also help Himachal Pradesh develop as a green state. He urged the youth to take advantage of this scheme.
The MLA stressed the need to strengthen the assembly and make it more organized to protect the interests of truck operators. He said that the Food and Civil Supplies Department had discussed in detail with the Chief Minister himself the demand for an increase in freight rates from truck operators. Positive results will soon be seen.
Sanjay Awasthi expressed his gratitude to the local people for making the Chief Minister’s visit to Darlaghat successful.

On this occasion, the MLA listened to the problems of the people and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials for their solution.
