    Teachers’ Day celebrated at Kasauli International Public School with cultural performances

     

    Sanwara (Kasauli), September 6: Kasauli International Public School, Sanwara, celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 5 with cultural performances and a special felicitation ceremony to honour the contribution of teachers.

    The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal Poonam Thakur and CEO Dr Sanjeev Mainra.

    Students presented a series of cultural performances as a mark of respect for their teachers. Young students performed Bhangra and a fun dance, while others presented poems and delivered speeches highlighting the importance of teachers and their contribution to shaping students’ lives. The performances were received with applause from the audience.

    Addressing the gathering, Principal Poonam Thakur extended Teachers’ Day greetings to the faculty and said teachers were “true nation builders” who impart knowledge as well as values and good संस्कार to children.

    CEO Dr Sanjeev Mainra said teachers play an important role in shaping the future of children and guiding society in the right direction, adding that their contribution could never be forgotten.

    Managing Director Hira Thakur, in his message, described teachers as the “soul of the school” and appreciated their dedication, commitment and hard work. He said the institution was proud of its teaching staff and wished them continued success.

    The highlight of the programme was the teacher felicitation ceremony, during which all teachers were honoured with special tags in recognition of their dedication and efforts.

    The programme concluded with teachers expressing their commitment to continue contributing towards the bright future of students and nation-building.

    Emotional Farewell Accorded to Final-Year Students at LR Institute of Pharmacy

     LR Institute of Pharmacy, Solan, organised a grand farewell ceremony in honour of its final-year students, marking the occasion with enthusiasm, emotions and memorable performances. The event witnessed vibrant cultural programmes, dance performances, musical presentations and other entertaining activities, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their talents.

    The ceremony was attended by Academic Director Dr. P.P. Sharma, Principal of the Hotel Management Department Dr. Suresh Chauhan and Principal of LR Institute of Pharmacy Dr. Avneet Gupta. The dignitaries extended their best wishes to the graduating students for a successful and bright future.

    Addressing the gathering, Dr. Avneet Gupta expressed pride in the achievements of the students and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their careers, continue learning and fulfil their responsibilities towards society. He expressed confidence that the students would excel in various fields and bring laurels to the institution.

    One of the highlights of the programme was the personality contest. Gaurav Sharma was crowned “Mr Farewell,” while Chandika was named “Miss Farewell.” Jaideep Negi received the title of “Mr Handsome,” and Akanksha Sharma was adjudged “Miss Pretty.”

    In her message, Managing Director Shachi Singh conveyed her heartfelt wishes to the outgoing students and encouraged them to stay committed to their goals, strive for excellence and contribute positively to society through their knowledge and skills.

    The institute family wished all final-year students success and prosperity in their future endeavours.
