Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), Una, on Wednesday launched the Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2026, a national-level talent identification and assessment examination aimed at helping students understand their academic potential and prepare for competitive examinations.
With more than one crore students having registered for ANTHE since its inception, the examination has grown into one of India’s prominent and longest-running student assessment platforms. What began as a talent identification initiative has evolved into a structured academic benchmark, enabling students to assess their preparedness, identify their strengths and areas of improvement, and better understand their competitive potential.
ANTHE is designed as a scientifically structured diagnostic assessment, with questions mapped to specific concepts and competencies. It evaluates students across areas including subject knowledge, aptitude, analytical ability and examination skills, providing a broader picture of their academic preparedness.

The Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) aims to bridge this gap by helping students benchmark their academic performance.
Now in its 16th year, ANTHE has emerged as one of India’s prominent student assessment platforms, with more than one crore students having registered for the examination since its inception.
What began as a talent identification initiative has evolved into a structured academic assessment designed to help students evaluate their preparedness, understand their competitive potential and build a stronger foundation for future academic pursuits.
Unlike assessments that focus solely on final scores, ANTHE is designed as a structured diagnostic examination, with questions mapped to specific concepts and competencies. Scholarships continue to be a key component of ANTHE, enabling eligible students to access Aakash’s Classroom, Hybrid and Digital programmes.
Under ANTHE 2026, students can avail scholarships of up to 100 per cent, subject to applicable criteria. The examination also offers ₹2.5 crore in cash prizes for top-performing students.
ANTHE 2026 is open to students from Classes V to XII and will be conducted in both online and offline modes.
The online examination will be held from October 27 to November 1, 2026, while the offline examination will be conducted on October 11, October 25 and November 1, 2026.

NEET UG 2026 Results Declared: 11.21 Lakh Candidates Qualify, Over 58% Successful Candidates Are Women
New Delhi, July 16: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026, paving the way for the commencement of medical admissions and counselling across the country. According to the NTA, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical programmes.

Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, which was conducted at 5,440 centres across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad in 13 languages. The agency said the results have been announced in time to ensure that the counselling and admission schedule remains on track.

In a significant trend, more than 58 per cent of the qualified candidates are women, reflecting strong female participation and performance in this year’s examination. The majority of top-performing candidates are in the 17–19 years age group.

Candidates can now download their scorecards from the official NEET website. The NTA has also published the list of All India Rank holders, state toppers, category-wise toppers, cut-off marks and language-wise participation statistics.
According to reports, Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana secured the All India Rank 1 with 715 marks each.

NEET-UG 2026 Cancelled, CBI Ordered to Probe Paper Leak

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially cancelled the NEET-UG 2026 examination conducted on May 3 following allegations of a major paper leak and irregularities in the exam process. The Centre has also handed over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

According to official statements, the decision was taken after inputs from central agencies and law enforcement authorities raised serious concerns over the integrity and fairness of the medical entrance examination. Fresh examination dates are expected to be announced soon by the NTA.

Reports suggest that the controversy began after “guess papers” circulating before the exam allegedly matched a significant number of actual NEET questions. Investigators traced the suspected leak network to Rajasthan, where multiple arrests and detentions have already been made.

The NTA stated that students will not be required to register again for the re-examination. Existing candidate data and selected exam centres will remain valid, and no additional fee will be charged for the fresh test.

The cancellation has impacted nearly 22 lakh aspirants across the country, triggering widespread concern among students and parents over the credibility of national-level competitive examinations.
