10 brides-to-be to get a chance to win diamond mangalsutra
Shimla, September 19, 2026
The wedding season in Himachal Pradesh is all set to get a glittering start as Verma Jewellers, the flagship jewellery brand of the Naresh Chand Verma Group, has brought its grand wedding jewellery showcase to Shimla.
Following the strong response to its showcase in Solan, the four-day exhibition will be held at Hotel Marina, Shimla, from September 19 to 22, bringing more than 5,000 bridal jewellery designs under one roof.
From intricate bridal polki and jadau to timeless antique and temple jewellery, the showcase has been curated around the diverse tastes of Himachali brides and families preparing for the wedding season.
From polki to temple jewellery, a bridal world under one roof
For many families, choosing wedding jewellery is more than a purchase—it is a tradition passed down through generations. Verma Jewellers is aiming to turn that search into a personalised experience, with its in-house design team available throughout the four-day event for one-on-one styling and jewellery consultations.
The collection features a wide range of traditional and contemporary designs, giving brides an opportunity to explore everything from statement bridal pieces to jewellery for important wedding functions.

Adding another attraction to the showcase, 10 lucky brides-to-be will get a chance to win diamond mangalsutra.
According to the organisers, visitors only need to walk in and register for the draw, with no purchase required. The lucky draw will remain open throughout the four-day exhibition.
“Solan told us it works. Shimla is where it gets bigger,” said Akshay Verma, Managing Director, Verma Jewellers. “The response in Solan showed us how much people wanted a show built around their own brides. We are bringing the same experience to Shimla with the same scale, collection and commitment.”

Part of the Naresh Chand Verma Group, Verma Jewellers has its roots in Solan and a presence in Rohru. The brand says it has built its identity around craftsmanship in bridal polki, jadau, antique and temple jewellery, with a focus on designs that combine traditional aesthetics with contemporary bridal preferences.
With the wedding season approaching, the Shimla showcase is expected to give brides and families an opportunity to compare designs, explore traditional craftsmanship and seek personalised styling advice all at one venue.
