Claims and objections invited from the public
Voter lists of 308 Gram Panchayats are now available for inspection and claims and objections.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Chamba Mukesh Repaswal, while giving information, said that the voter lists of Chamba district have been published for thorough revision. He informed that as per the instructions of the State Election Commission, Himachal Pradesh, under the thorough revision of voter lists, considering the eligibility date as 1 October 2025, the voter lists of the constituencies of a total of 308 Gram Panchayats of 7 development blocks of District Chamba have been made available on 6 October 2025 for public claims and objections.
Copies of the voter lists will be available for free inspection during office hours at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, as well as at the offices of the Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis and the District Council, Chamba. Anyone wishing to make any corrections, claims or objections to the lists can submit them in person, through an agent, or by registered post to the Block Development Officer concerned by October 27, 2025, so that it reaches them by that date.
The Deputy Commissioner also stated that the prescribed forms for submitting claims or objections are available free of charge from the above-mentioned officials and in the Gram Panchayats. He urged all citizens of the district to actively participate in this process and ensure they exercise their voting rights.
