Arki, August 29: Two meritorious daughters of Bhumti gram panchayat in Arki subdivision have brought laurels to the area by clearing the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and securing admission to MBBS courses.
Yukti Sharma, daughter of Ajay Sharma of Pakhred village, has secured admission to the MBBS course at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda. Similarly, Purnima Sharma, daughter of Om Prakash Sharma of Badmal village, has secured admission to the Government Medical College, Hamirpur.
The two students achieved the feat through hard work, dedication and sustained efforts. Their success has brought cheer to their families and residents of Bhumti panchayat.
Residents said the achievement had not only made their families proud but had also brought recognition to the panchayat. They expressed hope that both students would go on to become doctors and serve society and the region.
Former BDC member Asha Sharma, Chandrakanta Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Sharma, Het Ram Shastri, Raghunath Sharma, Jaichand Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Satish Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Kunal Sharma, Vibhuti Vashi and several other residents congratulated Yukti and Purnima and wished them a bright future.
