The holy water of five bawdis reached the temple of Devta Bakralu on Wednesday for the religious ritual Bhunda Maha Yagya of Sapel Valley. With this, Bhunda will start in the temple premises on Thursday. The ritual will start with the opening of the Havan Kund after 39 years. However, Bhunda rituals will start publicly from January 2. Thousands of people from nine villages have completed all the preparations from the temple to their homes. On Wednesday, the holy water was carried on the shoulders of Brahmins to the temple of Devta Bakralu in Dalgaon with drums. After the worship, the villagers cleaned the temple from outside. The Kardar and Havan Committee will be present in the temple throughout the night. The Havan Kund will be opened as per the Muhurta fixed in the temple. Havan will continue here continuously till the end of the ritual. Bhunda Maha Yagya was held 39 years ago.
The Bhunda ritual was held 39 years ago in this temple of Dalgaon. Preparations for this ritual are going on from the temple to every house for about five years.
People of nine villages are hosting the ritual.
People from nine villages of Sapel Valley have made full preparations to host in their respective homes. People of Dalog, Sharan Jarasi, and the entire Narain Panchayat of Rampur Tehsil are also considered to be the hosts of this ritual. Invitations are being distributed to distant relatives by the villagers of the entire area for the last one month. Here, MLA Mohan Lal Brakta reached the temple and took stock of the preparations. During this, he also discussed with the temple committee the traffic system and law and order.
Motameen Radhunath Jhamta of Devta Bakralu said that all the preparations for this ritual have been completed from the temple side. He said that here Devta Moharish, Devta Bondra, and Devta Maheshwar will be mainly involved. He said that now the cooperation of the guests will be needed to make it successful. Thousands of people are expected to attend the event every day.
