Dr. Rajeev Bindal’s elder brother, Ram Kumar Bindal arrested on rape charges; a woman alleges misconduct at the clinic.

Dr. Rajeev Bindal, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, elder brother Ram Kumar Bindal has been taken into custody by Solan police. He has been charged with rape by a 25-year-old woman. Ram Kumar Bindal, the accused, has been taken to the hospital by Solan police for a medical evaluation. Gaurav Singh, the Solan Superintendent of Police, attested to the case.
Ram Kumar Bindal, 75, the older brother of Dr. Rajeev Bindal, was reportedly arrested when Solan police called him in for interrogation on Friday morning. However, the date of the complaint against him is still unknown.
According to reports, a young woman sought treatment at Bindal’s older brother’s clinic on October 8. She was then harassed at the clinic, which was close to the former bus stop. The 25-year-old lady complained to the police in Solan. On Friday, a police forensic team came to the facility.
