The electricity bill subsidies provided by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu have सांसद। Sukhu had unilaterally chosen to forfeit the subsidies last month. The Chief Minister has now received a charge from the board for Rs 30,450 for two meters that were put at his private residence and official building in January. The board has gained Rs 1,550. 646 units as a result of this. At both of his homes, less electricity was used in January than in December.
The Chief Minister, ministers, MLAs, and officers are among the groups to get non-subsidized electricity bills from the board following the decision to discontinue the subsidy. The board does not yet have all of the data for this, though. Electricity subsidies have been discontinued for CM Sukhu, Harish Janartha, the Shimla city MLA, and Sandeep, the managing director of the board. These customers received bills from the board in January. The 125-unit free plan will not be available to them.
An electricity bill totaling Rs 3,152 for the private residence’s meter and Rs 27,298 for the CM’s government residence’s meter was issued in January. MLA Harish Janartha’s Metropol residence’s meter bill is Rs 3,714. Electricity use at CM’s homes has decreased when the subsidy was discontinued. In January, MLA Janartha used 115 units more power than she did in December. The managing director of the board, Sandeep Kumar, received an electricity bill for Rs 1470 for his Brock hast meter. In Himachal, there are 23.55 lakh people who use electricity. 12,990 residential electricity users have renounced the rebate thus far.
The Chief Minister believes that by removing the subsidy, the state power board will gain Rs 200 crore. In this case, the electrical board that is losing money will be assisted in getting back on its feet.
