Solan
Cracks have started appearing once again in the road near the police line on the Solan bypass in National Highway-5. This situation has now become very worrying because this road has already been repaired 9 times and now cracks have started appearing for the 1st time. Here the administration and the four-lane construction company have adopted all their tricks, but no one is able to understand the real problem. At the same time, now the increasing cracks again are a danger for the vehicles passing through here.
Let us tell you that a service lane has been built along the four-lane near the police line. Earlier, a danga was installed here by putting a mesh with soil. It settled completely after some time. After this, the danga was installed; it also collapsed and the road collapsed. Many times the big cracks, which had taken the shape of a pit, were filled by filling. Now a small RCC danga has been installed in it and the road was also repaired some time ago. Along with this, samples have been taken for testing by taking out the soil from below with a drill.
The villagers living nearby have already informed the administration about this—that this place is not suitable to bear such a heavy weight. This is a sinking zone and the four-lane construction company has dumped a heavy load of stones and debris here. Due to this, the temple of the villagers built on the lower side has collapsed several times. The entire road is built with debris and cracks are appearing in it again and again and the ground is constantly sinking.
Earlier trucks used to stand on the service lane here, but ever since big cracks started appearing here, no truck or vehicle goes here. Despite this, this place is constantly sinking. Due to the ever-increasing cracks, apart from the service lane, the main lane has also come under threat. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the local people are demanding a permanent solution. If appropriate steps are not taken in time, a major accident can happen here anytime.
