Samirpur/Hamirpur, October 1, 2026: Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal on Thursday held meetings with several BJP leaders at his residence in Samirpur, with discussions focusing on organisational matters and current issues.
Balh MLA Inder Singh Gandhi called on Dhumal during the day and held discussions with him on various organisational and contemporary issues.
BJP Mahila Morcha state general secretary and Zila Parishad member Vandana Guleria also met the former chief minister and invited him to attend the Sharadiya Durga Puja celebrations scheduled to be held at the Awah Devi temple complex from October 11 to 20.
A delegation comprising Dr Ram Prakash, president of the BJP Talai Mandal in Bilaspur district, Kisan Morcha Talai Mandal president Mukhtar Patial and Kisan Morcha Talai Mandal general secretary Rajesh Gautam also met Dhumal.
During the meetings, Dhumal said the BJP’s core strength lay in its dedicated workers and strong organisational network. He stressed that sustained organisational growth depended on the hard work of party workers, commitment to public service and coordination at different levels.
Dhumal urged party workers to keep public welfare at the forefront, maintain regular engagement with all sections of society and take the party’s ideology and welfare-oriented objectives to the grassroots.
He also called upon workers to discharge their organisational responsibilities with dedication and commitment.
