Shimla, May 2. Dates have been set for elections in the 30 Panchayats of the Mashobra block. According to Ankit Kotiya, Block Development Officer, Mashobra, elections will be held in three phases in the 30 Panchayats of the block. In the first phase, elections will be held on May 26th in ten Panchayats: Nala, Peeran, Koti, Balog, Junga, Chamiyana, Bhont, Baldeyan, Naldehra, and Mashobra. Similarly, in the second phase, elections will be held on May 28th in Kufri, Dhali, Shilonbagh, Janedghat, Pujarli, Malayana, Pagog, Manju Dabri, Kolu Jubbar, and Dhali Panchayats. In the third and final phase, elections will be held on May 30th in Moolkoti, Satlai, Darbhog, Bhadech, Razhana, Maihali, Dummi, Gumma, Chadi, and Barmu Kelti.
He stated that nominations for the Panchayat elections will be filed on May 7th, 8th, and 11th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Scrutiny of nominations will begin on May 12th at 10:00 AM. Candidates will be able to withdraw their nominations on May 14th and 15th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Following the withdrawals on May 15th, a list of candidates will be prepared and election symbols will be allocated. He stated that the elections will be held in three phases on May 26th, 28th, and 30th, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The counting of Gram Panchayat votes will be conducted at the Panchayat headquarters after the completion of voting. While the counting of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad votes will be conducted at the Block headquarters on May 31st, starting at 9:00 AM.
