Due to the Delhi assembly elections, the process of reorganization of Himachal Congress has been put on hold, so now only after the election results of the Delhi Assembly will the process of reorganization of the dissolved state, district, and block committees of Congress in Himachal move forward.
Under this, in the second week of February, the party high command will put its seal on the reorganization of the organization by holding a meeting with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Congress state president Pratibha Singh, and other senior leaders.
According to the information, most of the observers appointed by the high command regarding the formation of the new executive of Congress in the state have submitted their reports, so now the formation of block and district committees will be finalized first by discussing with the senior leaders. This entire process will be completed by the end of February, after which the state executive will be formed in the month of March. It is worth noting that on 7 November, the party high command dissolved the state, district, and block Congress committees. This decision was taken on the proposal of the Chief Minister and the Congress state president.
Party state president Pratibha Singh has put forth her view before the high command regarding the reorganization of the state Congress. Under this, she has made it clear that active faces should be brought forward in the organization so that the activities of the organization can be taken to the ground in a better manner.
