Shimla, April 24
The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed three non-official directors to the Board of Directors of the Himachal Pradesh State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation Ltd., according to a notification issued by the Department of Industries.
The appointees include Harbhajan Singh Bhajji, Ramesh Chand, and Satishwar Sharma. The appointments have been made with immediate effect under the provisions of Section 67 of the corporation’s Memorandum and Articles of Association.
In a related decision, the state government has also named Harbhajan Singh Bhajji as the Chairman of the Board. He is a resident of Bothwell Lodge near IGMC in Shimla.
Ramesh Chand hails from village Malag in Nadaun tehsil of Hamirpur district, while Satishwar Sharma belongs to Chamyana village in Dadahu tehsil of Sirmaur district.
The notification was issued by Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) R.D. Nazeem.
