Shimla, July 1: The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer and posting of two Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-IV) on June 30, 2026, Sachin Kanwal (HPAS-2009) will continue as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister and has been relieved of the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Himachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (HPSRLM).
Meanwhile, Surender Mohan (HPAS-2014), currently serving as Additional Director, Rural Development, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Himachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Additional Director, Rural Development.
The notification, issued by the Department of Personnel, states that the transfers have been made with immediate effect in the public interest. The orders were issued under the authority of the Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
