Shimla, April 22
The Himachal Pradesh government has issued a notification ordering the transfer and fresh postings of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers with immediate effect in public interest.
As per the order issued by the Department of Personnel, Rohit Rathour (HPAS 2008), currently serving as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Mandi, will now hold additional charge as Director, Technical Education at Sundernagar. He will also serve as Managing Director of H.P. Kaushal Vikas Nigam, Sundernagar.
In another key move, Prithi Paul Singh (HPAS 2013), who was serving as Managing Director of H.P. Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation in Kangra, has been appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Una. He replaces Mahendra Pal Gurjar (IAS 2018), who was holding the additional charge of the post.
The notification, issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, stated that the transfers have been made in administrative interest and are effective immediately.
The order has been circulated to all concerned departments and officials for necessary compliance.
