In a major crackdown, the operation cell of Chandigarh Police neutralised notorious gangster Golu Gohana during an encounter at the rally ground in Sector 25 Chandigarh on Wednesday.
The operation was carried out by a team led by Inspector Satvinder Duhan. According to initial reports, the accused opened fire, prompting retaliatory action from the police, which led to his death at the scene.
