The Environment, Ecology and Health Club of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JYC JUIT) organized a tree plantation drive on the occasion of World Earth Day, reaffirming its commitment towards environmental sustainability.
The initiative was coordinated by faculty members Prof. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Ashok Kumar Nadda and Dr. Rishi Rana, along with student coordinators Aditya and Aryan. Around 50 students actively participated in the drive, planting saplings across the campus to promote greenery and ecological balance.
The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Participants highlighted the need for collective action to combat climate change and preserve natural resources for future generations.
The drive concluded with a message encouraging students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives and contribute towards a cleaner and greener planet.
